General Booking Terms & Conditions

All prices quoted are per person.

After School Creative Club: Sessions must be paid for in advance and assume you will be dropping your child unless otherwise agreed. Everyone is welcome to join in. The club session is from 3.15pm up to 6.00pm. If you wish to book regularly please call 01273 833393 or you can use the online form. Please ensure you have completed the After School Club Registration form before the date your child is coming to poponin. If you are already registered please ensure you complete the booking form when making payment so we know what date you are booking/paying for.  See separate club page/terms and conditions.

Holiday Creative Club: Children aged 4 are welcome to start with a  3 hour club session, when attending with an older sibling, and work up to a stay of 4 hours. Once they turn 5 years old and are attending Year 1 at school (please reach out if your child is in upper age of Reception class) they can attend short day clubs.   Those aged 5 years upwards, provided they are attending Year 1 at school can attend all clubs excluding the full day club. Full day clubs are only available to those aged 7 years plus. See separate club page/terms and conditions.

Adhoc Club/Workshops: unless otherwise specified adhoc clubs and workshops are unaccompanied sessions, when making a children’s booking. Where there is the option of having your child collected directly after school please ensure you have advised poponin of class year and location. Please ensure you advise the class teacher the dates your child will be collected by the poponin team. All adhoc clubs and workshops must be paid in advance. See separate page/terms and conditions.

Clay & Wheel Taster Sessions: Please look carefully at the options available as not all include firing and not all are individual sessions.  Where a shared session is booked the minimum number applies and will be charged. Missing sessions will not be refunded.  Wheel Taster sessions are specifically 8 years and above.  Our wheels are low to the floor, some flexibility is required. Children under 12 must be accompanied unless already part of poponin clubs or by prior agreement.  Glazing sessions operate with 3 options:  Pieces glazed in studio clear glaze, glazing at home where materials and instructions are provided or glazing at poponin where an additional per person studio fee is applied in advance.  Glazing options can be decided at the time of your session. Pre Schooler Sessions: the booking is for up to 60 or 90 minutes. Please ensure you complete the form & make payment so we know what date you are booking/paying for. Payment is required in advance either using the deposit option, and paying the balance on the day or paying in full in advance. Non payment voids any booking reservation. Parents must stay on premises. Missed sessions are not refunded.

Poponin Studio Time: the booking is for 1 hour studio time Monday to Thursday term time and Monday to Friday during school holidays. Please ensure you complete the form and make payment so we can reserve and have your table prepared. Parents must stay if children are under 5 years of age or where they have not been booked into a specific club or activity. Any additional material costs can be paid for at the end of the session. Missed sessions are not refunded.

Drop & Go (4 years plus): the booking is for 1 hour studio time only during term/holiday times and assumes you will be leaving your child unaccompanied at poponin. If more than 2 hours is needed we recommend using the holiday club booking service. If your child is under 5 the maximum time for using ‘drop & go’ is 1 hour.

Small Group Gathering: We are happy to welcome small groups provided they are booked in advance.  All group gatherings must be paid for in advance.  Refreshments can be brought onto the premises with prior agreement.  Any rubbish must be disposed of, by you, at the end of your booked session. If numbers need to be increased, we are happy to do this, subject to space.  Small group gatherings are not treated the same as a party booking or other bespoke arrangement. A small group gathering does not have exclusive use of the poponin venue or team, unless previously agreed as part of your booking terms.  Any booking that is cancelled 48 hours prior we will try to re-schedule within an agreed time frame.  Any reduction in numbers, once the booking is confirmed, does not change the booking amount due.  Small group gatherings are typically from 4 - 8 people.  If you have a larger group separate terms and conditions will apply.

A Better Kind of Friday:  During term time we operate A Better Kind of Friday.  Our Better Kind of Friday's are designed to end your week with something enjoyable for your kids and for you.  Your kids spend up to 90 minutes getting creative, whilst you catchup with friends at your chosen local adult venue (The Poachers, Hoptub, New Inn, No 7, Fuel, etc).  A sure way to start your weekend.

No refunds will be given for any missed sessions.

In most cases you will be automatically transferred to the payment page once you have submitted your reservation/booking form (excludes clubs/pottery session as space). Please be aware there maybe a slight delay when connecting to the payment page. Thank You.
