When you book your child into one of our clubs, you can be sure they’ll have a fantastic time.
Everyone at poponin shares a love for creativity. Our team is made up of creative individuals who are either a parent, have worked with children, or have brothers or sisters. In fact, some of our younger assistants first joined poponin as five-year-olds and now return to help out after school or during the holidays! In one form or another our entire team are or have been involved in arts and crafts.
All key staff members are DBS checked. Our insurance policies include a 'Walking Bus Service'
During the warmer months, we open up our courtyard, where children can enjoy craft activities, quiet time, or refreshments in a shaded outdoor space.
Children will have access to a massive range of materials, ideas and expertise to ensure they not only have a great time but also have plenty of interesting activities to keep them busy.
While our clubs are designed for fun, the benefits of regular creative sessions go far beyond that—helping to nurture confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of making and exploring.
Booking a spot in our After-School Club? Here’s what to expect!
Our after-school sessions run from the end of the school day until 6:00 pm, with flexible pick-up times to fit around your schedule.
Children are collected either directly from their classrooms or from their school-run clubs. Please make sure their class teacher knows they’re heading to poponin, whether it’s for a one-off session or a regular visit.
Once picked up we take a relaxed group walk to poponin via a calm, scenic back route—giving everyone a chance to unwind after the school day.
Once we arrive, it's bags down and snacks out! With a drink in hand and a warm welcome, your child can settle in before jumping into an afternoon of imaginative and creative fun.
They’ll have the freedom to follow their creative instincts—painting, crafting, building, and experimenting with new ideas and materials.
Our clubs all about exploring at their own pace, trying new things, and discovering talents they didn’t even know they had.
With gentle encouragement and plenty of arts & crafts, they’ll grow in confidence while having a brilliant time.
Get ready for a day at poponin' holiday club!
When booking your child into one of our holiday sessions, here are a few things to help them have the best time:
Snacks & Drinks:
For a 3-hour session, please pack a small snack and a drink.
If your child is staying over lunchtime, they’ll need:
A refillable water bottle (we’re happy to top this up all day)
A mid-morning snack
A pack lunch that follows school food guidelines
An afternoon snack for that final creative energy boost!
Dress for Creativity:
Creativity can get a little colourful! We provide aprons, but we still recommend clothes that can handle a bit of paint, glue, or glitter. Most materials wash out—though the occasional splash might stick around as a souvenir of their fun.
Take-Home Bag:
Please pack a bag for all their handmade masterpieces! It makes end-of-day pick-up much smoother and keeps their creations safe on the journey home.

Our clubs are relaxed, with a welcoming space designed to bring out the best in every child. We encourage imagination, exploration, and the joy of trying something new, all while helping children grow in confidence as creative thinkers and makers.
Whether they come on their own or with friends, every child is included and involved. Through collaboration and shared experiences, they build self-respect, learn to value feedback, and often make new friendships along the way.
We listen. We encourage. We problem solve together. And above all, we have fun.
By the end of each session, your child will head home full of pride, carrying their own unique creations that reflect their personality and ideas. They can’t wait to show you what they’ve made and we know you’ll be just as proud as they are.
